HYON Q uses Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to help you securely connect financial accounts and transmit financial information from your selected financial institution to HYON Q. Connecting an account is optional. Plaid may collect financial institution identifiers, account and routing information, account balances, transaction information, account-owner information, and other financial data made available by your institution and authorized by you. The information available depends on the financial institution, the accounts you select, and the HYON Q service you request.
By selecting "Continue," "Connect," "Allow," or a similar authorization control in the Plaid Link experience, you expressly authorize HYON Q and Plaid to act on your instructions to access, collect, use, store, and transmit your personal and financial information from the financial institution and accounts you select. You also consent to Plaid's processing of that information in accordance with the Plaid End User Privacy Policy. Please review Plaid's policy before connecting an account. If you do not consent, do not connect a financial account through Plaid; you may contact us to ask whether another method is available.
For institutions that use OAuth, Plaid may redirect you to your financial institution's website or application to authenticate and approve the requested connection. You will then be redirected back to complete the Plaid Link flow. HYON Q does not receive the login credentials you enter directly with your financial institution during that OAuth process.
We use information received through Plaid only to provide the financial, tax, accounting, verification, or advisory services you request; maintain and support your connected account; help prevent fraud; comply with applicable law; and protect our rights and systems. Plaid is an independent service provider and processes information under its own privacy policy.
You may ask HYON Q to disconnect a linked account or delete information we received through Plaid, subject to legal, tax, regulatory, fraud-prevention, security, and record-retention requirements. You may also view and manage eligible Plaid connections through the Plaid Portal. Disconnecting an account stops future retrieval through that connection but may not require deletion of information that we or Plaid must retain by law or for other permitted purposes.
